The story of my work as an esthetician and mother

I have always been an artist. And I’ve always enjoyed taking care of people:

After a divorce a few years back I did not know what direction my life would take me. I knew I didn’t really want to go back to corporate as I needed to be here for my daughter so I decided to explore different avenues and esthetics seemed to jump out at me.

After a conversation with my nail artist, I decided to explore this career path as it would allow for more flexibility. During the pandemic is when I had to change mindset as I was no longer working for somebody but I needed to work for myself. Fortunately the home that we built a few years back I had enough room in  a downstairs media room that would eventually become my facial room.

Skincare focus:

I have decided to focus solely on healing facials kind of a niche market which in the world of aesthetics can be a good thing or a bad thing as I’ve decided to not bring on more services but focus solely on the face and proper skincare for the area we live in. By using proper product and modalities that are non trendy and non invasive.

As a woman in my mid 40s, I know how important it is to make a good first impression and when the first thing everybody sees is our face, I wanted to be able to provide a service that would be beneficial for women who want to age gracefully, but at the same time help them know what is the correct products for living in the weather environment in north Texas. 

I also want to bring a level of knowledge and experience that is more geared toward what you would find at a higher-end spa so at the same time while I am helping you and your skin look the best, I’m also helping you with relaxation. 

Healing for the mind and spirit. 

Anxiety and depression being a mom being a woman it can be really hard and a healing facial can be healing for the mind and spirit. My love for art and aesthetics come into play where I get to create the perfect facial for my client each time they come into my room. Nothing that I do will ever be the same and that is where I love the art and science that goes into giving my clients the best facial for their skin at that time. I also know that as we age a lot of women spend a lot of money unnecessarily and don’t know what products are beneficial I love being able to guide my clients on this journey for proper products that will not only heal the skin but will help keep the youthful  balance between tone and texture that we tend to lose in our 30's and 40's. Just because we are 40 doesn’t mean that we have to look our age.
